Flying to Florida on @SpiritAirlines and couldn’t check in at the kiosk, went to the counter where I was told I was unable to board due to it being 41 minutes before departure. 4 min past cut off. The woman goes to retrieve her manager, which, including the conversation with said manager takes about 10 minutes before she tells me to proceed, stating she would radio ahead. I make it through TSA in around 3 minutes, the airport was empty. I make it to the terminal 18 minutes before departure, the air bridge still connected and doors open, where I was turned away again. I was offered a flight the next day as an only option. After being delayed by 3 separate @SpiritAirlines employees for a total of probably 15 minutes, I accepted and was handed 6 boarding passes. When I inquired, I was told it was for the entire party. I then explained once again that the rest of the party was on the plane. Her eyes became the size of dinner plates and she apologizes profusely. Meanwhile, I am receiving texts from my family letting me know that there was someone sitting in my seat when they boarded.
