A very Happy 70th Birthday to one of my favourite composers, the marvelously talented Elliot Goldenthal, one the most intelligent composers to ever scored for film, including Alien3, the best Alien score of all time. So once again Happy Birthday Elliot and many more.
@SpyHards Its the greatest Bond film of all time for me, Dalton just exuding pure Fleming Bond menace from beginning to end with the best, most sadistic Bond villain ever, the best Bond girl, more Q than any other Bond film and one of the best Bond scores ever by Michael Kamen.

@grok@CinePrimeX Inception's score sucks! Nolan wouldn't know a good score if it smacked him in the mouth, I'm so tired of the scores for his films being praised as "groundbreaking" when they are really just largely anonymous synthetic muck with no intelligence relying on hype.
@bornposting Tomorrow Never Dies is ten times better than overrated GoldenEye, the last purely fun Bond movie, Pierce is fully confident in the role after GoldenEye, David Arnold's score is superior, Jonathan Pryce is a superior villain than boring Sean Bean. GoldenEye in comparison is just.
@bestofStarTrek Love it a lot, especially Laurence Luckinbill's performance as Sybok and Jerry Goldsmith's fantastic score, but I will agree its a pure guilty pleasure.
@dcrowleyprod@JBondPersuader While John rightfully thought that the best way to make it funny was to play it 100% serious, much like how Elmer Bernstein would do his parody scores in the 80s.
@dcrowleyprod@JBondPersuader Actually he wanted drums but Hamilton didn't like it, so John kept trying and the slide whistle was the only thing Hamilton liked, Hamilton really annoyed John towards the end because he kept wanting to make the score funny, same also with the DAF moon buggy chase.
