๐จSecWar Pete Hegseth just dropped the line of the century:
โWe decided to share the ocean with the Iranian Navy. They got the bottom half.โ
Welcome home, USS Lincoln sailors!
#LSU ranks in the top-3 in total offense and total defense.
Tigers are the only team in the country to rank inside the top-5 on both sides of the ball.
๐จ HOLY CRAP! 60 Minutes was FORCED to air this
โ[President Trump] will go down in the annals of Iranian history as the most-celebrated foreign leader that changed the ballgame and changed the world as a result!โ
Thatโs the truth! ๐ฅ
All week long I've been watching two things without wanting to.
The fallout from the Lindsay Clancy trial and this ridiculous LSU-SEC saga.
And last night when I heard some inside word on what's actually going on with the SEC thing, it finally struck me that these two things are actually the same story playing out in different venues.
LSU is that one juror who insisted she was guilty. And LSU is spending a whole week being berated by hyperemotional, hysterical people making outlandish accusations, threats and demands despite not actually doing anything wrong.
LSU is "arrogant" and refuses to respect the feelings of the rest of the group, and must be thrown off the jury. So the group engages people who talk for a living, and in particular bald old men who shamelessly toe the party line, to make fiery statements about punishing the juror for holding to his position.
And then there's the army of people on social media, equally hysterical, who screech about the juror while inventing theories which don't actually hold up to scrutiny.
People on the jury who came to the deliberations with a conventional view then get swept along in the hysteria, taking a position they previously would have thought was unwise, but afraid to buck the mob.
Everyone's guns are trained on that one juror. They don't like him.
But they can't prove anything he did which is actually deserving of their scorn and threats.
Eventually the hysteria blows over. But not before damage is done. Trust is lost. Hard feelings remain.
Does the truth will out? Hard to say. Moments of mass hysteria very rarely lead to clarity.
His reference to his speaking to Sankey on Sept 4th is a gangster move. @GregSankey now either has to deny it, or admit he's been proceeding IN SPITE of such direct assurance by a University President - either of which should alarm every other President in the @SEC if they are paying attention, which I'm sure they are.
I have no followers so no one gonna see this. But all the other fanbases talking all this mess about LSU and wanting LSU kicked out is just showing that theyโre scared of a Lane Kiffin led LSU program. Especially after that Clemson beat down

The SEC has long set the gold standard for athletic competition, but now has reduced itself to targeting LSU with desperate threats of expulsion.
The NCAA started this mess with vague, unclear, and confusing rules. The result is unprecedented chaos in college sports. Now SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey is elevating the situation to embarrassing levels, seeking to upend the makeup of the SEC because two players who have never set foot on a professional field dared to seek clarity.
The SECโs blatant targeting of LSU is nothing more than an attempt to distract from the leagueโs blunders and the NCAAโs failure to enact clear and consistent rules. Just like they won in court last week and dominated in Death Valley on Saturday night, no matter whom LSU competes against, they will win.
Targeted harassment with bias is a lovely conversation to have in court. Just because lsu won without the pro players and a coach made a smart ass remark to prove a point, doesnโt give you the right to pick and choose who should be kicked out. If anything, after all of your own issues, you should be the one removed from the SEC.
so ole miss got a player that signed with clemson and was already IN CLASSES to leave and transfer to Oxford
No Punishments no issues
