Although some fans might be surprised that the #sens took yakemchuk 7th. A little reminder that when the sens drafted Sanderson 5th he was ranked much higher, some scouts had him as high as 15th. And most had him behind drysdale and others.. look how that turned out.

@LalimesMartian It’s weird timing.. a new GM would like to pick THEIR coach. But the time to fire DJ is right now. The boo’s are warranted and are a distraction. Andlauer &co can’t afford to loose the season now. Capuano can’t be the interim coach and a GM search takes time. Alfie for interim !!

@DLee075 I think on a short contract it’s worth it. If it stops Brady from having to step up all the time and stops teams from taking cheap shots a stutzle and Sanderson then I’m all for it. He is the undisputed best/most intimidating enforcer in the league.

But statistically it’s not even close, turris had 3-20+goal seasons over his career and a high of 27 goals. Out of 3 seasons(1 shortened season) Stü has 2 20+goal seasons this year 32 goals in 62 GP. Timmy can snipe!
