They become the first V.League 2 club in 12 years to win a promotion playoff and reach Vietnam’s top division.

Winger David Henen 🇹🇬 has reached an agreement in principle to join Hanoi Police from SHB Da Nang.

🚨VPF plans to increase the number of foreign players in the 2026/27 V.League to 5 for V.League teams. Teams competing in the ACL and Shoppe Cup will be allowed to register 8 players. If approved, this will be a major change aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the league.

From the semi-finals onwards, the 2026/27 Vietnam Cup will feature two-leg matches (home and away) to ensure fairness and attract more fans to the stadiums.
Regarding the transfer and supplementary registration period, the 2026/27 season has two player registration phases:
• Phase 1: July 24, 2026 - September 22, 2026
• Phase 2: January 25, 2027 - March 15, 2027.

Two South Korean referees, Kim Woo-sung and Choi Cheol-jun, will officiate the match between Ninh Binh FC and Cong An Ha Noi on March 14th. This is a crucial V.League Round 16 clash in the championship race.
