Out of curiosity, how much is a ticket for Newcastle home game for the average person including yearly membership fee with a reasonable view of the pitch?
That decision is exactly the reason the GAME IS GONE.
Wow if that sets the president of the way the tournament is going to pan out then it’s going to be a shocker
But we all know there is no consistency so time will tell.
How can you win the league with so much scandalous officiating questionable decisions !
I’m glad no epl club has congratulated them.
No wonder they’ve been everywhere looking for validation
The timeline. I watched the whole incident again.
45:55 corner is awarded.
46:20 (20 seconds already over added time) Saka having sauntered to the corner flag finally puts the ball down to take the corner.
Ref blows for HT.
Ref allowed the extra 20 seconds of clock time specifically for the ball to be brought to the corner, but refused to grant the additional 10 seconds it would have taken to actually execute the set piece.
Had Saka got a move on knowing they were already over added time the corner would have been taken. We're used to seeing players do exactly that, acting with a sense of urgency in such moments.
Because Saka has been drilled to dawdle like this at every corner, all season, he was unable to do anything other than that.
Arsenal got called out. Unsurprisingly they don't like it. PGMOL take note, we are paying attention.
Noni Madueke pulled Mendes down but Arsenal fans wanted a penalty ... Delusional 😂
That ref should be promoted, he can't be more right 👍.
These were part of the reason why Arsenal won the PL because PGMOL & VAR would've awarded it. Funny enough when it's against Arsenal, they won't award it ... We saw when it happened to Westham, they got relegated.
