Today, I got the opportunity to visit #pitchinaz at #808social. Today featured Vybe, a new dating app with a clever twist. I love seeing communities come together and share ideas and help support each other however they can!
#PeoriaMETTech has given me quite the advantage when it came to my training at the GCU IT Support Help Desk! Part of my training involved learning about the Active Directory, but thanks to the Windows Course #PeoriaMET gave me, I could skip and move to a harder topic!
Today was a busy day, but fun! In my Intro to IT course, I am discussing with classmates the differences of programming. Fairly simple, but a fun topic to discuss.
First week of GCU classes over! It was definitely a good first week. Surprisingly, I am enjoying my classes! Tonight, I am beginning my first big English essay on Rhetorical Analysis, where I need to determine how an author makes use of Ethos, Pathos, and Logos. Challenging!
@victor_bigfield Absolutely! It is a good visual representation of what I was taught at the program I was in in high school: #PeoriaMET. Feel free to check it out. The posts you will find there are from students at the program that want to show what they are learning! It is some great content!
Throughout my #PeoriaMET and college experience so far, I have learned that getting out of your comfort zone is the only way to follow your dreams and make them a reality. There are always opportunities out there to make it happen. Just take a leap of faith and go for it!
This is so true! It is better not to be spoon-fed the answers to questions. Chase after the answers yourself! Experience is the best teacher. Thank you to @JDavis_MET for demonstrating to me that you need to experience and search for the answers yourself and not be fed knowledge.
Today was my first day in my college classes! I have already hit the ground running with an assignment. Today, I am researching the difference between IT and Computer Science. I look forward to hopefully expanding my knowledge in the world of Technology!
Already networking at GCU! It is great to meet so many people who come from many different places! I look forward to continuing to expand my network as I begin my college journey! #LopesUp
