Working alongside @NHSEngland we have launched a new and refreshed #WorkWithoutFear campaign as shocking figures show that every single day last year, a staggering 47 #ambulance staff were abused or attacked.

Our second day of training new recruits is underway at Leicester University this morning. They have a full day ahead of them, and will be joined by some of our current level 2s as they up-skill to level 3, allowing them to respond to paediatric and trauma call on behalf of EMAS
@EMAS_CFR@jimr1066 Always check your kit - we find an A-E approach helps makes sure you have anything and always make sure you bring snacks, you never know how long you will be at a call for.
Not even out block placements stop our team volunteering. Many thanks to Helen who recently gave up her time to work with the CFR team in Northampton 🚑
Fantastic work by our Leicester University Community First Responders who attended a Cardiac Arrest last night, and had the pleasure of working with Dr Matt Woods.
Thank you to @vegware for their generous donation of cups and cutlery for our scheme room, allowing our responders to have refreshments whilst on shift.
Heading to the @DMUpharmacy conference today? Visit our stall to find out who we are, what we do, and how to join! We will also be giving a short talk at 16:10.

#LUCFR stats for October! An incredible achievement for the scheme, and all thanks to the arrival of our new #responders! Welcome to the LUCFR and thank you for your commitment and enthusiasm straight out of your recruitment training! 🚨🚨
Sessions have included interactive cases and questions for discussion. We hope to run similar sessions for our students on other courses and year groups. A small return, for the
huge amount of time our volunteers give to our scheme! 2/2
Many of our volunteers are students at @uniofleicester and @dmuleicester , meaning they respond alongside their studies.
To support some of our responders with upcoming exams, @Jonathan_Ince has been facilitating peer revision sessions for the last 9 weeks. 1/2
Our Medical Director Dr Leon Roberts @x7ljr has recognised the commitment our #EMAZING volunteers make to EMAS and thanks them for the work they do as part of #VolunteersWeek2021 😊💚
Katie and Jane are out supporting @EMASNHSTrust today.
Katie is a final year @dmuleicester pharmacy student who is on one of her last shifts before leaving Leicester. Since joining last year, she has volunteered over 100 hours and responded to over 50 patients. Thank you Katie!
