@audraf637 I have sprained my ankle 6 times in my life. Always the same ankle. Each time, the ATFL ligament becomes more attenuated. Ice, elevation, compression, and PHYSICAL THERAPY to strengthen the joint. Best of luck.
@sampullara There is nothing a boomer can do with their money that would satisfy this author, is there? Spend it, bad. Don’t spend it, also bad.
The complaint is boomers are wealthy. No thoughts about why.
@GadSaad Proportionality means the deaths are proportional to the military objective, not proportional to the other side. It means “do not go out of your way to excessively kill civilians”. Since Israel “knocks” before bombing, they meet this standard. 🙄
@simonateba@netanyahu Spread love but also truth. A pro-Palestinian rally that cries “from the river to the sea” is saying they want to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. Literally. That is not love is it. And you cannot ask anyone to give water to those who chant for your death
I yield to no one in my revulsion at the statement apparently made on behalf of 30 plus @Harvard student groups. But please everybody take a deep breath. Many in these groups never saw the statement before it went out. In some case those approving did not understand exactly what they were approving. Probably some were naive and foolish. This is not a time where it is constructive to vilify individuals and I am sorry that is happening.
@gwenshap I dunno Gwen. My experience has been some engineers want to move from the how to the why. They need a reason for the work and they go seek it. Mostly engrs who extremely hate wasted time seem to go this route. A really bad product decision in their past seems the motivation?
Why does @Stanford still require Covid tests for people using their facilities? It takes effort and resources to enforce these policies. Why would they continue when the global health emergency is over?
It’s summer camp. The avg age is 10.
@united your Austin lounge staff are kindly and helpful. Perpetual flight delays and commensurate complaints were met with grace and competence. You hired well.
@rolanddreier Say what you like Roland, but we ran that business at 42% operating margin and 69% gross margin. We knew exactly who our customers were, what they needed, who their competitors were, and we wrote those needs into the specs and onto the web site concurrently.
I lived this at Altera. I was always uncomfortable with the separation of these roles at the other companies I worked at. Also PM should have full accountability for growth, profit. If you understand the business, and the customers, you will do both jobs well.
Tony Fadell co-created the iPhone.
In his book, Build, he explains why product management and product marketing should be the same role.
"Your messaging is your product. The story you're telling shapes the thing you're making."
I've always believed this as someone who did both.
