For the past year, I’ve been pretty much head down building https://t.co/71Oodg6YeR
Long days, nights and weekends. Building in stealth, putting the team together and thinking deeply about how we can shake up the iGaming market.
I’ve been building this alongside an extremely talented team and co-founder, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve been able to put together so far.
We’re players ourselves, and our vision is simple:
Build a casino that values its players, and rewards them in the most valuable asset of the last 15 years, Bitcoin.
We’ve spent the past year building the product, the technology and the reward system around one simple idea:
Every Play Stacks Bitcoin.
And we’re building it around a category-defining domain, with the kind of organic intent and strategic value you rarely get in iGaming.
No house tokens. No fake points. Just real Bitcoin that players can actually own and HODL.
We’ve been quiet for a long time.
That’s about to change.
We have some big announcements coming very soon, with a lot more to share over the next couple of months.
And if you’re paying attention, you might notice a few things hidden along the way.
Clues will start appearing soon.
Crack them, and you’ll be glad you did.
Stay tuned.
Over the years I’ve been to an unhealthy number of Web3 conferences.
So I decided to rank them.
S tier → must go
A tier → definitely worth it
B tier → solid
C tier → go once
D tier → save your money
Let’s get into it
And that's my completely subjective Web3 conference tier list.
I've spent enough time travelling to these things to have some strong opinions
Obviously everyone's experience will be different.
But if you're planning your conference calendar for the next year...
Hopefully this saves you a few flights.
🟠 D TIER
• Proof of Talk
• Web3 Summit
Proof of Talk is one I'd give a miss.
It just isn’t at the level I’d expect yet. The organisation could be much better, and with so many stronger options across Europe, I just don’t see the value in choosing it over them.
Web3 Summit is a shame because it used to be pretty decent.
Berlin is probably the exception and can still be worth checking out.
But some of the more recent events have had poor turnouts.
With so many better options now, it's difficult to justify spending the money on it.
The Bitcoin Casino crew are heading to SBC Lisbon 🇵🇹
Going to be a good few days of catching up, meeting new people and seeing what’s happening in the industry.
If you're about, drop me a DM
There’s a lot going on in the world right now.
Government debt keeps growing, deficits keep getting bigger, geopolitical tensions aren’t exactly going away and technology is changing incredibly quickly.
I’m not going to pretend I know exactly what happens next.
But one thing does seem pretty obvious to me…
Governments have very limited options when debt gets this high.
And if more money eventually has to be created to deal with it, I’d rather own something that can’t simply be printed more of.
Scarcity matters.
And that’s why I continue to believe Bitcoin is one of the most important assets to own
Casinos are shutting down at a pace that should worry everyone in this industry. Most people blame the market. I don't think that's it.
The real problem: almost nobody is innovating. The industry got comfortable a long time ago, same playbook, same funnel, same assumption that slapping "casino" on something makes it profitable by default. That assumption stopped being true a while ago.
Here's the trap most brands are stuck in: if you're not deliberately narrowing your distribution or building something genuinely different, you're not really competing on your own merits. You're just fighting everyone else for the same oversaturated pool of streamers, most of whom don't care about your brand, don't care about your product, and will promote whoever pays more tomorrow.
That's not a strategy. That's renting attention you don't own, from an audience with zero loyalty to you.
We're taking a different approach with Bitcoin Casino. Not another copy-paste operator with a new logo, something innovative that still feels like home.
I'll be sharing more as we get closer to launch.
