@Mafuduckies @rata_frita my comprehension pretty good!

But everyday conversations can still be challenging because people tend to speak so fast and blend their words together!

[Luca @LucaYoung4]

@Mafuduckies @rata_frita purely a result of the mutual intelligibility between Portuguese and Spanish. Portuguese has 12 vowel sounds, while Spanish has only 5. Combined with the fact that, among the Romance languages, Spanish has a large number of words that resemble Portuguese, this makes…

@Omnix_xy This is essentially what Oyakata-sama describes as immortality; the kind he knows through the human will, which can never be extinguished. Even if dozens of Demon Slayers fall, their feelings live on, undiminished!

@vitaaeris @_iris_azul Ultimately, the recognition she earned from others came from a combination of all those things.

Does that excuse Maomao for being selfish or insensitive toward those girls? No!
But that has much more to do with her harsh and flawed worldview than with hypocrisy!

[Luca @LucaYoung4]

@vitaaeris @_iris_azul I agree that what Luomen did for Maomao was completely selfless, without a doubt! But during her time in the rear palace, Maomao had to rely on a great deal of prudence and hard work to survive there, beyond just her knowledge of pharmacology! ⬇️

[Luca @LucaYoung4]

@vitaaeris @_iris_azul Maomao’s life is full of personal achievements that she’s earned through her own dedication and wisdom! Her competence and prudence have brought her recognition and earned her favors, which she’s still used with restraint. The influence she has comes from her own merit.

[Luca @LucaYoung4]

@vitaaeris @_iris_azul It’s not like she takes advantage of Jinshi’s favors or anything. So far, in every interaction we’ve seen between them, Maomao has been the one doing him favors! In her day-to-day life, she’s just working and going about her ordinary life.
