@MasalaNoodles As for always, the writing is the key. It's an art and a work, not just noting whatever you think of, it's reflecting it, criticizing it, so it's not that easy.
When, recently, Scooby-Doo appears as better detective than the "world best detective", some logic is escaping me :/

So either it's the writing, either it's a way for the writer to show that Jason doesn't know his brother well. But the writer being Tynion, I think it's the 1 ..

@MrDays8 @MasalaNoodles But, to put some nuances (since it's always more interesting), it may be neither. When Tim said it, he was still very young, impressionable, and probably thought of it as a quality (it's neither a quality or a default, of course). So that may have influenced him.
