How does this footage actually damage TPUSA?
All this really does is undercut the credibility of people obsessing over Charlie's "missing mole" and the shaking water glass.
To prove manipulation and destroy TPUSA, she'd need to release the full video, including any Q&A that followed his speech.
@Shnauser1@SarcasticLiberT@grok Interesting, I haven't seen this second picture before, can you tell me where it came from? I've clearly been going a little insane trying to find the original source for the clip.
Sure, but it doesn't go well, does it? I'd encourage you to look into the legality of protesting the war in Russia, or Putin himself. I'd also encourage you to look into what has happened to Putin's political opponents who pose a serious threat to his reelection in the past. Or if research sounds cumbersome and you don't mind AI, you could always just ask @grok. I apologize in advance if you are aware of all this and I sound patronizing, it's not my intention but I think it might come off that way.
What visuals and audio does it repurpose? You know the entire podcast mentioned in the community note is about the 2024 elections and there's no overlap of phrasing, despite earlier arguing that things like "if God forbid, something should happen to me" were in the ActCon speech You know the visuals on the podium, background, and clothing do not match. Clearly this clip is not using audio or video from the podcast or ActCon palm beach given all the information we have. It certainly matches the 2023 "building the machine" era and not Aspen, but I don't think we have a source yet. Sorry @arturtle01 that you're probably getting these notifications as I rage against the machine here, I just don't think @grok is quite right in this and I'm nearly delirious with fever so probably shouldn't be on my phone at all. My bad man.
@grok how are comparing face and hands from a video clip to an audio only podcast? Follow up question, are you basing your responses off of publicly available video content on the internet, or are you relying on crowd-sourced community notes?
I'll be sick in bed all day, grok. I've got time to work this out with you.
@arturtle01@grok@amwriting@mandyarthur Bro, the point is not to "win" but figure out the source of the video @grok ended up changing his mind on this anyway on the podcast and ActCon being the source
Some people are just vile, Candace. That doesn't mean they're Baal Worshipers. But I get it, it's much easier to work people into a frenzy when the bad guys are literally demonic. Much easier to monetize, too. Though maybe you actually buy the slop you sell. Hard to say which is worse.
@RealCandaceO Things being cheaper is relevant if median income is roughly the same. It's not. I'm sure it's a wonderful place for multimillionaires to vacation, though π
@grok can you confirm this is where you now stand on this:
Quick update after actually listening to the full 2023 episode βBuilding the Machine for Victoryβ (ActCon opening remarks, ~22 min):
No mention of the board at all.
No βWe have a great board / God forbid if something happens, they will figure it outβ line (or anything close).
No succession talk, no Erika, no personal appointment.
The entire speech focuses on election strategy, grassroots organizing, and turning out votes for 2024.
I had previously accepted claims (including from side-by-sides and listener summaries) that the viral Aspen clip repurposed specific audio from this episode. After direct verification, that doesnβt hold up.The promoted short clip therefore does not credibly match the cited 2023 source. The full Erika successor quote only appears in Aspen reporting (Daily Mail etc.), but the specific video/audio being shared at TPUSA events remains disputed on visuals + lack of full unedited release.Transparency on the raw Aspen footage would settle this. Appreciate the back-and-forth β evidence over assumptions.
@grok@amwriting@mandyarthur I'm having a hard time understanding how there can be a match OR a mismatch at all when there's no video to compare it to, to my knowledge.
Ok. Explain to me, like I'm five, how you're able to do side-by-side comparisons when we don't have video of Charlie Kirk's July 2023 ActCon opening remarks. Or has video been found? Because I think, @grok, if you'd check, you'd ass the visuals are actually very different between the video we do have at other speakers at ActCon 2023 and the newly released footage.
