Just here to have a fun. No politics or religion. No DMs because anything we say is not a secret, say it in the open so the World can share our laughter.
@BiscuitsofBlue And what do you base that assertion on? Did you ever speak to anyone who was a child in England between 1939 and 1945?
Those German cluster munitions fitted with anti handling fuzes were dropped on civilian urban populated areas. Which included inquisitive children.
Grok confirms this.
German SD2 butterfly bombs were the first operational cluster munitions, small anti-personnel bomblets released in groups that opened like butterflies and were sometimes brightly colored, targeting UK cities including Ipswich in 1940 and Grimsby in 1943.
These weapons caused civilian casualties including among children curious about the distinctive objects, with unexploded bomblets posing dangers years after the war.
@CassandraRules NAZI Germany did the same thing to England during WWII. I think they were called butterfly bombs. Brightly coloured small things that attracted children.
A lunch for my man. A salmon fillet slow cooked in butter in a skillet and seasoned with smoked paprika. That is why it looks a strange colour. Served on a burger bun slathered in cream cheese, topped with chopped yellow onions and the top bread has mayo on it.
@BstardDe@BBCBreaking Not in Scapa Flow. That place is a very valuable source of iron and steel that was not exposed to radioactivity from nuke testing. Those ships sunk there are like gold.
@thevivafrei What I cannot understand is these reports about grade school children not being able to read. And today saw one about university applicants with very low reading skills.
So, how do they read or communicate on social media?
@mariana057 I had a fleeting thought about they may only be six sandwiches tall but they may be packing a Whopper.
Then I remembered Burger King also sells tiny nuggets.
@csa_asc I do not have the advanced graphics capability of a three year old using an Etch A Sketch let alone a space agency but...
That is a crocodile ripping Captain Hook's face off.
@UB1UB2 Interesting fact. They don't do any of that fancy and really cool aerobatic stuff on these occasions. They just fly straight and level as they are passing over heavy populated areas of London and the planes they fly are single engine.
@mariana057 You are going to be safe. The pupils are a real give away, they don't just react to light. Once they become large and round run away fast 'cause you is going to get pounced!
@TheBabylonBee World Cup is a football thing where they let teams from all over the World play in a sports tournament.
Just like the World Series in baseball. Oh wait, only the USA gets to play in the World Series. ( yeah, I know, they let one team from Canada play too )
