As a reader, my main suggestion would be that you recognise you are more than just your book. Too “salesy” & you might put people off. We want to know you - what inspires you, do you have (or did have) an exciting career? Tell us what you’re reading too. We’re interested!
We all agreed that you should choose whichever platform suits you, as if you try to engage on a platform that isn’t for you & you don’t enjoy it, that will come across. You’ll be more successful if it’s something you’re natural at.

@Baughly and @Naomi_Bacon#LBF23 - Be nice, be authentic, be human
Great session on accessibility and inclusion - a topic that needs to be given the investment and focus it deserves in the publishing world - thank you @GadsbyOliver@ways2read and @VPMENON#LBF23
Q&A: what about the backlist - books that are sold after the date need to be accessible, whether front or backlist. We shouldn’t be thinking differently about them #LBF23
Q&A - books on Amazon today - how many are actually accessible? Accessibility isn’t binary, kindle platform opens up opportunity for personalisation for the reader but not 100% there yet. #LBF23
Issues solved by the open web - accessibility across different languages and scripts. Technology plays a large part in improving things for the future #LBF23
