We drove 45 minutes to Alderbrook, spent d day by d water and loved it so much we came back 2 days later, booked a room & turned it into d sweetest little overnight with d girls. Not d weekend we planned but a reminder that sometimes u ‘ve to make d most of what’s in front of u❤️

Sometimes Plan B turns out pretty damn good. We were supposed to spend this week at lake Chelan, a trip we’ve taken every summer for the last 7 years &genuinely look forward to all year. Having to cancel because of the fires+smoke left us down. So we pivoted!

The federal observers say they can stand 100 feet from the building of the polling place

The election judge says that because the polling location is in a park, the entire park is the polling place. So they can’t stand 100 feet from the building, they must go to the edge of the park and stand 100 feet away from there

🔥🚨 JUST IN — The NYPD has REFUSED to provide a security detail for Muslim Mayor Mamdani’s wife for her planned trips to Syria and Lebanon.

Syria and Lebanon are under Level 4 "Do not travel" advisories due to threats of kidnapping U.S. citizens.

"The NYPD does not send officers to countries with level 4 travel advisories for discretionary reasons not linked to investigative work."

The Mayor's office had announced she would receive protection, but the department confirmed it had not been consulted and would not send officers.
