Considering Calamity Ganon emerged from beneath Hyrule Castle and Link witnessed Zelda's memories of Ganondorf, I always found it odd that Link never asked about a potential connection between the two. In-game, it was disappointing that Link never had interactions with other characters that triggered dialogue like, "There were TWO!?" or "Calamity Ganon came from the sealed Ganondorf under Hyrule Castle!"
