@Logically_JC Regardless the Bible is the most important historical literature one can study and it's criminal it isn't a part of the regular curriculum
@GreenTextRepost Light is a character plagued with morality. So the only way for him to not kill himself after he initially used the Death note was to change societies view on murdering criminals from bad to good. By changing societies morality he is able to alleviate his guilt.
Pippa is holding a utilitarian/pragmatist viewpoint though I don't think she knows it. Clio is mistaking it for nihilism. Clio believes happiness is in what you make of it. (Absurdism) While Pippa is correct in stating happiness requires work, money and to avoid distractions from useless things. Clio as an absurdist finds validation in all her useless impractical things. Hence Conflict.
Therapy is for people who need help coping and Pippa copes just fine. Shame on the other girls for suggesting therapy for that cam only interpreted as a personal attack
Uncle Ben's moral philosophy slowly destroys Peter's life and he and the city would be better off without it.
It forces Peter's into an impossible situation he is one man and MILLIONS of people live in New York. He cannot save them all and he will ruin his career and home life trying. The city is receiving nothing either criminals escape. Law and Order most times can't even arrest the people Spider-Man fights but he acts as a stopgap preventing real criminal reform.
If Peter focused on himself he could have been a public figure pushing for reforms to his society instead he is doomed to have no legitimacy no family and no peace.
The shown core of the characters is
-Lisa brat
-Bart neglected
-Maggie mute
-Homer angry
-Marge nagging
Although Homers character is way more complex than anyones. He's a total ladykiller and a standout for moral complexity a man who wants to be a great father, husband and provider but lacks the ability to. He will continue to try while usually coming up short. And it is in his few successes that he finds meaning and the strength to carry on.
While Bart is simply neglected by his family and school. Constantly abused by both and unable to find any guidance all the while seeing his sister be fondled over by both. Lisa is not choked. Lisa is not pummeled by a gang of bully's on a daily basis. Lisa's teacher is indifferent to failure while Bart's takes sick glee in watching him squirm over questions to which he has no answer.
Constantly shown to be validated by society but every episode where she has to compete against people as good as her she chooses to chicken out or cheat. Bart plays Jazz episode. The one where a new girl turns up and is better then her. She is a loser she loses. Big fish little pond. Bart however finds success, relishes competition and never gives up. He in every universe should be growing up to be a success. While Lisa will take the easy way out and marry Millhouse.
@StarWarsDaily_ End it with Palpatine possessing Rae or just evil Rae this contextualizes the trilogy as a Rise of a new evil tyrant like the prequels did. Probably would have to change the Title.
