@non_philosophy that whole 'leviathan' theory of we need to be governed because if we aren't we'll turn into lord of the flies is very silly and it sounds like thats what theyre implying. its a very religious argument.

[Luke BT @LukeBeattie95]

@JadTheMad1 @GingellSamuel name of this?

[Luke BT @LukeBeattie95]

@ambient_gf @thewastedworld nothing. people glance over his blog posts and decide they’re smarter then him based on a review of a drake album or something. (these people will never create such an amazing category of work let alone influence people from across the entire globe the way he did.

[Luke BT @LukeBeattie95]

@thewastedworld actually he was right about everything :) :) :)

@coIonelkira there were Harry Potter references in Doctor Who as late as 2021 on television - and many members of the cast who are continuing to work in the EU are frequently reiterating right wing talkbits on sexuality. Even today Colin Baker and Terry Molly were doing this.

[Luke BT @LukeBeattie95]

@sapphicyazzy Sacha has a much bigger body of nerdy work like moffats dracula, marvels iron fist and the great tho

[Luke BT @LukeBeattie95]

@wiccanstardis and something we ALL can relate too

[Luke BT @LukeBeattie95]

@wiccanstardis not to mention it doesn't make the doctor special at all. in the eys of the master sure because the master is a weirdo who gives power to eugenics. but in reality the doctor is merely a victim to the cruel treatment of their society. which isn't very "special"; just messed up.

[Luke BT @LukeBeattie95]

@jonnymorris1973 Partner and I thought this was an incredible piece of work. absolute shame there won’t be more.

[Luke BT @LukeBeattie95]

@sophieinthesky_ I picture it feeling like Tenet or The Bodyguard

[Luke BT @LukeBeattie95]

@R8_OV_PROPhEt @zei_squirrel it’s definitely not like math - I found myself having to jump deep into Hegel first and even then new understandings of the text is formed countlessly - for instance reading mark fisher completely changed how I understood it

I really hope the anniversary is some meta shit like matrix resurrections make the fans feel shit for wanting the same stuff

[Luke BT @LukeBeattie95]
