@NorseCodeDN@ArifHasanNFL With the Lynx in first place even without Napheesa Collier, does her imminent return mean that we can already hang the banner?
@hereiam444@_FromTheIsland I do concede the game structure is similar to the point of being hard to distinguish. However, I think there has been a lot of diverse gameplay between seasons and I think the cast of each season has still kept me engaged.
@hereiam444@_FromTheIsland That’s kind of my point with #Survivor49. There haven’t been a lot of twists/journeys/advantages, so one would think this is a good thing. But the discourse I’ve seen across social media has been overwhelmingly negative, which feels hypocritical.
@hereiam444@_FromTheIsland This is where we have to disagree, I guess. I don’t think themes make a good Survivor season. There are plenty of bad themed seasons and plenty of good, non-themed seasons. For me, it’s always been about the players. The New Era has had some of the best casts across the board.
@LeaveHeardAlone Not disagreeing with your thesis, but “antithesis of everything conservatives hate” means that he is the opposite of what they hate (what they love). You probably meant to say: the embodiment of everything conservatives hate OR the antithesis of everything conservatives value!
@bopor_flop@classicallygia I think it’s just kind of boring. I feel like maybe it has to do with 43-46 having very cool logos that makes it stand out as nothing special.
@ric_said@classicallygia I don’t disagree. It’s so close to being a legitimately great season. There’s a lot of players I’d love to see back from that season
