@PrometheanActn It’s nice that we’re serving notice, but when will the US started walking the talk? If progress is being made, it is too little too late. I still see too much resistance from the uniparty and not to mention in state and local governments.
@wesbury I disagree. Yes, any weighted index that includes the mega cap stocks is more risky than they appear. But, there are index funds that exclude the mega cap like CRSP midcap and S&P 400. The problem is that the mega caps are beating the broader market.
@WeTheBrandon One more thing to add, a new grassroots 250 kbpd refinery probably costs in the ballpark of $20 billion. With all the hype about batteries and electric vehicles, who would invest with that uncertainty?
@WeTheBrandon Agree, expanding a dinky 75 kbpd refinery is hardly going to matter. For the past 20 years, refinery margins have climbed while we either shutdown sites or sell them to financially weaker owners. Building new is impossible because of regulation on local community resistance.
@KatieMiller Makes you think twice about phenobarbital. If it didn’t work on Christa Pike, how many government assisted deaths of the elderly or sick has it failed on as well?
@RenzTom If that is the case, what about all the other cameras at intersections not to mention red light surveillance? Seems like there is no end to infringement of the bill of rights. Why can’t patriotic attorneys all band together and start correcting the situation?
@clif_high What ever came of the report of a strange message received by voyager at the edge of the solar system? Anything in the Alta report about that?
@tedcruz Why do you fear the Russians so much if their economy is so small? Let’s see, the Russians have many multiples more natural resources than the UK, much more industry, and a massive land mass.
Why the beef with Tucker? Oh, ‘cause he exposed you as a Christian fraud.
@clif_high Clif, mushrooms are nice, But, any comments on the Islamic uprising in France? Didn’t you predict a reaction in Europe where muslims begin leaving in response? When is that going to happen?
@ArmstrongEcon The problem lies with refining capacity. Worldwide, we are running at unsustainable rates while the wars bomb refineries. We are at a point where any shock to the system with trigger steep price increases because fuel is inelastic. Not time to add enough new capacity.
@ArmstrongEcon It is not just fuel, the economy is structurally short of everything. Manufacturing went off shore. Zoning and regulations limit land use and construction. Even food is increasingly imported. Is this due to monetary policy or something worse? When inflation takes off, look out!
@RealAlexJones What about the judges that were blocking executive orders? After listening to MTG, I wonder if Trump administration worked with the judges to block some of the #3s. Makes you wonder.
@TuckerCarlson One more thing, everyone can focus on building and creating in any job - even insurance sales. All you need to do is treat and deliver a level of service to the customer that you would want yourself. Honesty in insurance can create lots of value.
@TuckerCarlson Why do men need to create? I suggest you look into Ayn Rand’s philosophy of “Objectivism”. I think it explains the why even though Ayn was an atheist. You are on to something here. It’s what’s wrong with the world. Find and interview someone who can speak to it.
@FmrRepMTG I worked in refining for 30 years. Yes, Ukraine hitting Russian refineries is making it worse. But, the main problem is lack of investment/expansion in US refining capacity. US refineries are now in weak hands, with few owned by the majors. Plus, two shutdown in CA this past year
@RealAlexJones Did you Tucker’s recent posting about the CIA continuing to target Russian refineries after Trump said to stop? It’s time to name the power group that is driving all this unconstitutional behavior. Alex, are you brave enough to lay it out?
@RealAlexJones He is right, we do not need a leader. What would happen if 20% of the people in this country started doing what they know is right? i.e. Ignore unjust mandates, speak up whenever they see an injustice, be able to cite the constitution when needed? We just go rogue!
@RepThomasMassie I still struggle trying to understand why both parties can’t follow the constitution. In the 7th grade we studied the constitution. Back then, even the slowest kids in the class could understand the bill of rights. Today, it is rare to find a politic or judge that does.
@DowdEdward Is it really a concern that AI is dangerous? Or, that narrative cover for the possibility that AI is reedy yet and cannot live up to the hype? My opinion is that the training sets are full of conflicting data and as a result that current generation of AI will under perform.
@TuckerCarlson I want to correct one thing. Although fertilizer can be made from crude oil and/or as a refinery product, ammonia and nitrate is usually made from natural gas. The plant made reside inside or next to a refinery, it’s feedstock is different.
