The refs made the CORRECT call at the end of the Iowa/UConn game, and the video proves it!
It was a TEXTBOOK illegal screen on UConn! Do the rules not matter anymore?
My thoughts:
@itsAntWright@itsAntWright you got any coach’s in mind Michigan should look at after Juwan is gone? I know a while back you said Otzelberger from ISUwould be a guy to go after.
(2/3) It’s not baseball. Having a sign can be quite useless and tough to take advantage of, say nothing for the fact that signs often change.
Offensive signs change weekly and are performed by multiple signalers.
Defenses signal in response to offense scheme and formation.
(1/3) Funny to see sign stealing allegations levied against Michigan. Comedic that anyone would try to attribute Michigan’s success to “sign stealing”.
Football coaches are the most paranoid people ever about others stealing info, so it’s not easy to do, even if you wanted to.
(3/3) Michigan isn’t a heavy hurry up/“check with me” team that has coaches tell the QB what to do based on defense formation.
To believe that UM is stealing signs likely speaks to your limited knowledge of the game.
…And I’ve never been part of any sign stealing, anywhere.
Tennessee had 200 infractions and paid recruits. Slap on the wrist.
Michigan got a couple of guys burgers and watched Zoom workouts during COVID. Suspensions!!!!
Absurd...
Not trying to twist the knife, but I don’t feel bad about saying Michigan State could have won this region. I think they would have handily outclassed either Tennessee or FAU. That’s a tough one for the people in green and white.
Jett Howard with a nice three to open the scoring, but he missed a free throw, had an inexplicable turnover on a backdoor cut that wasn't there and jogged back on defense as Indiana scored in transition.
What a shitty way to end such an amazing game. Millions tuned in world wide to watch some chubby middle aged guy throw his yellow flag on one of the softer calls in NFL history in one of the bigger moments in history. Mahomes gets another break. What an absolute shocker.
