@ForePlayPod@BobHarig Maybe Rory should not be allowed at the major venues to practice in advance if he's not meeting the league's 15 event minimum. There's probably no way to enforce that, but that consequence would seem to be a nod toward fairness.
@willhaskett I don't know what else the USGA could have done, but this is kind of embarrassing. The course that looked nearly impossible this morning is playing more like a municipal course this evening.
@danorlovsky7 Your humble attitude is a great start!
3 Things:
1) Put the Word of God (not your own wisdom) at the center of family life.
2) Take them (just you and them) on a significant outing at least once or twice each year (i.e. a 5-day fishing trip or a baseball stadium tour).
3) Pray.
The Word of God imparted by the Spirit of God is the only instruction that can guard our hearts and anchor our souls against the wickedness, waywardness, and weariness of this world.
-- 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Worship is the healthiest activity for the soul, because nothing else we might do aligns better with reality than praising our Creator. The better we know the one true God, the more we connect with what is real, right, and rewarding (Psalm 145:3).
@Hellblazer80@BrianKirschner_ Agreed. It's obviously about both skill and luck, and luck factors into every tournament at least a little. However, when the conditions become unfair (e.g. there are no viable landing zones on greens), then luck often wins the day.
@JBay_AllTheWay I had the privilege to see Burlap to Cashmere at a really small venue right after the release of "Anybody Out There," and it remains one of the best concerts I have ever seen. Those guys were talented and tight, and small venues are the best.
@SchefflerLegion What would you say: Scottie maybe had his C or C+ game this week?
And still, he beat everybody in the field except a guy who played out of his mind and basically holed every put he looked at all week. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
So, all in all, not too bad, I guess. ๐
@TeeplesCY@NancyRPearcey You're so close on this one.
The point is not that merely showing up for church blesses families. It's that, in Christ, God blesses families who earnestly seek Him.
Undistracted determination to delight in God and dwell with Him is the predominate desire that defeats the devil.
"I have set the LORD always before me. Because he is at my right hand, I will not be shaken" (Psalm 16:8).
@Pro__Ant Exactly! If they have 3 or 4 guys (such as Miller, McDonald, Rodriguez, & McNeil-Warren) that they value equally but can realistically only draft one, then as long as all four are available, they might as well trade back two or three picks at a time and accumulate draft capital.
@AaronQuinn716 Everybody's a football genius, I guess. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
I like the trades. Great return. The Bills biggest needs are DT and LB, and the best of both are still on the board.
