I’m not worried about Alonso, our fan base is very reactionary, just look how long it took Arteta to get Arsenal a league title. We shouldn’t expect everything to come together immediately. However I do have an expectation and that is top 4. When January comes around we have to get a midfielder that is a necessity to this team.

That left side also struggled today, but I think Chavarria should start over Hato at LWB I do think he is more defensively sound in that area but I wouldn’t mind seeing Hato at LCB as in previous games I’d argue that’s his better position.

If Moi isn’t back next game then I wouldn’t start Lavia I’d start Barco and James.

The midfield was the major issue, we need a midfielder. I’d trust Chavarria at LWB over Hato tbh, but the blame isn’t on Hato either that whole left side was an issue unfortunately Rogers needed to track back so much better. Little moments as well from the attack losing the ball and just slow movement to recover. To beat Arsenal you have to be physical but intelligent because they will also draw the fouls, I mean we saw some stupid decisions today but it is what it is. Gusto shouldn’t play in midfield ever again I would much rather Barco to have come on into that midfield when Lavia was taken off.

Good first half overall but that second half we just didn’t come out to be honest. Positives and negatives to take from this game, I was never confident that we’d beat Arsenal as soon as the lineup came out.

Let’s bear in mind that these were payments to players agents which are legal btw, they were just hidden payments. So everyone saying they bribed the agents to convince the players to join. Grow up.
Every club makes payments to the agents you just have ti disclose them.

I do understand the frustration from other fans about Chelsea’s punishment, however if you really think that Chelsea is the only club to have done this then you’re a idiot.
Another will come out eventually, which the club don’t COOPERATE and will be handed a harsher punishment. Fans will immediately start saying “But Chelsea…”

I think Brian Madjo will be a top player in the future. For a 17 year old he is way ahead physically and his instinct in front of goal is incredible at his age. I really hope to see him a lot in the future.
As long as he isn’t playing against us 😂.
