“Cumha a’ Cheannaird”
(The Leader’s Lament)
I wrote a pìobaireachd style lament for Alex Salmond today.
He was a true leader and nearly led us to our freedom.
We were so lucky to have him.
Mìle taing dhut Ailig.
Thank you Alex.
Wheelchairs in King’s College Hospital are being hired out like Boris bikes, costing £2 an hour.
"people arriving at the hospital and unable to walk to A&E are pointed towards a hiring dock full of wheelchairs unlocked by a credit card machine."

We hope you’ve enjoyed listening to our new single! It was such a fun time filming the music video. In this segment, #AlanCumming introduces the two opponents as they enter the ring. This represents the battle between the independence campaign vs. the heavyweight that is the UK Government.

I'm delighted to announce that my new single with Alan Cumming, “2014,” will be released next Wednesday, September 18th - the 10 year anniversary of the Scottish Independence Referendum. Like many Scots, this was a truly pivotal time for both of us and we hope that the message of the song will resonate with listeners. We’ll share more thoughts all this around the release, but for now, we’d appreciate it if you could pre-save and pre-add the song on your streaming service of choice. #griogair #alancumming #2014 #scotland
Exactly why we have voted @theSNP into government time and again. We demand different in Scotland 🏴
We have done better and will continue to do so
Stephen Flynn has delivered on the task he was set tonight. Show the similarities between Labour and the Tories, how far away the Westminster debate is from what people in Scotland want - and why the SNP are needed. Swinney, Flynn and team SNP will be very happy.
Wales needs powers over our natural resources - including the £835m worth Crown Estate - to protect our environment and tackle climate change, as in Scotland.
It's no shock that the Tories block this, but for Labour to do so shows how they take Wales for granted.

📢 @StephenFlynnSNP sets out some home truths to the Westminster parties on migration:
➡️ Migration is essential to our public services
➡️ Migration is essential to our businesses
➡️ Migration is essential to our economic growth
Finally someone brings up the disastrous Brexit elephant in the room.
Stephen Flynn calls out the main parties, in front of a very shifty Nigel Farage, for not talking about the wholly unnecessary and self-inflicted damage it continues to cause. #BBCDebate
My final tweet on this (for now). If you're age 40 to 73 especially and you haven't checked your National Insurance record, please have a listen to this, you could be £10,000s of better off if you do.
