'i=!'는 엑스러브가 지난 5월 발매한 '아이, 갓(I, God)' 이후 5개월 만에 선보이는 신보로, 전작에서 가장 하찮고 나약한 존재일지라도 끝점에 도달한다면 자신이 원하는 모습으로 다시 태어날 수 있다는 이야기를 전했다면 이번엔 불가항력적인 힘에 의해 매 순간 마주하게 되는 '선택'의 순간에 대해 노래한다. 각 선택에 뒤따라오는 두려움과 공포, 그리고 단 한 번의 선택으로 완전히 달라지는 결과 앞에서 느끼는 혼란을 담아냈다.
