Schiff proceeded to argue, thinking it was Trump's administration saying it, and he got stopped mid-sentence.

Brutal. And the record makes it even worse.

When Congress voted in 2011 to ban armed forces in Libya without Congressional approval, Schiff voted 𝗡𝗢. He voted to keep Obama's unauthorized military operation going. No Congressional approval needed, apparently — when it's his guy.

He also voted NO on removing troops from Afghanistan, voted YES to authorize military force in Iraq under Bush, and voted YES to arm Syrian opposition fighters. A long record of supporting expansive presidential war powers — right up until the moment a Republican president used them.

Then suddenly the Constitution mattered.

This is the man who spent years lecturing America about the rule of law, oversight, and accountability. The man who chaired the House Intelligence Committee with a permanent expression of grave concern.

𝗛𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘇𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘆'𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗴𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁.
