Deeply saddened to have been at the Big Church Festival with my family when a sign tragically blew over, injuring several people and, devastatingly, resulting in the loss of a life.

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has been injured, the family and loved ones of the person who tragically died, and everyone affected by this terrible incident.

I’m also deeply sorry for the Big Church Festival team. I can only imagine the emotional and financial ramifications this tragedy will have on the organisation and everyone involved.

Genuinely, deeply sorry for all that has happened. May God comfort those who are grieving, bring healing to those who are injured, and give strength to everyone affected.

The dog would first need to destroy or tear apart the pram shield before it can reach the baby, and I bet she won't stand there watching the dog do so.

The baby's pram has a protective cover where Baby is sat in, & the Baby is secured to their seat with a harness. That's why she easily lifted the pram up with baby still in place.

@Baggio2345 @Natashaxoxo82 The dog was clearly aiming for her dog, and not the baby or herself. We've seen this happen a lot of times where pets come after other pets unprovoked. In these circumstances, that's the best she could do. I'm sure she won't allow it attack her baby either if it chose to.
