@The_Lord_Otter As long as there are rules it’s fine. They don’t need to be so clear to the reader but it can’t just be vomit out there. The author should know and apply them, in my opinion, or I find it difficult to believe and it becomes a distraction.

@EmmaRSotomayor I think most readers will struggle with the pacing if you include that and almost breaks the story for some. I bet there’s clever ways for you to drip that into the main plot.
