@SCIorganica Your suggestion to use alternative dye could be very useful but with the purpose to decrease the efficiency of the ET, thus the change in the efficiency will be more pronounced!

@SCIorganica We observed that the energy transfer that occurs between the BODIPY dyes is very efficient, this could be a problem because the increase in the ET efficiency upon contraction of cardiac cells shall be small.
