my most vivid middle school memory is when my history teacher told us she laid awake at night wondering how many great philosophers, mathematicians, writers, scientists, weren’t allowed to read or write due to the trans-atlantic slave trade
@snieznie@BuBuery@partycitygal Nobody is "normalizing" anything they're just talking about their actual life?? Seems like ur projecting a bit cause I did not read any sort of celebration or flex in OP's caption
people’s memories are so bad they can’t even remember the time before the trans culture war. literally no one cared. republicans didnt care. it wasn’t a concern until they had to make something up to make you angry and stupid. we have hard proof that it’s a hoax but no one cares
Gerrymandering is undemocratic and evil.
And it's essential the party that has repeatedly tried to ban it keeps doing it until the party that historically abused it gets curb stomped so badly they cry uncle and agree to the ban.
These are not contradictory positions to hold.
I can't bring myself to represent war with a cool knight. It's horror. War is a bound child crowned with shrapnel, tied to a wounded horse that is being pulled forward by unseen people
we're literally witnessing the rebirth of nazi germany right now and yet no one seems to care because its arabs getting killed. this is genuinely horrific please never stop talking about palestine
@Mc_Jag_@TrystinFrmCntrl@heyyitsjanea The argument against the death penalty is not that "no one deserves to die" the argument is "the government shouldn't get to decide who lives and who dies" if we give any one group of people that power they will abuse it (esp the government lol)
