[val @LUXURYDISEASE]

the director yelled “stop, cut!” but taka moriuchi heard “serve cunt!” and went with it

[val @LUXURYDISEASE]

one ok rock has been part of my life for so long but i gen don't know anymore. 🥲listening to their music just does not feel the same anymore i feel like it might be time to step away as a fan for the time being. i really do hope taka is able to change and stand with humanity

[𝙵𝚒𝚟𝚎 ✨ @ureshiiarashi]

taka posted a long statement in japanese & shared an english version after.

I wish he'd stop repeating Ed is his friend bc that's not the best argument to use to save the situation😬
Please use your voice to speak up about #FreePalestine with the same motivation instead😩

[francesca🎞 @oneokrvck]

holding someone accountable doesn't mean that we are cancelling them.

we are fucking adults and so is him he doesn't need to be babied, he needs to be held accountable period

[わなご @wannagolive_]

今回ばかりはTaka擁護してるやつ全員アホ、ほんまにアホ、もっかい言うけどほんまにアホ

[۫ @Foltergeis]

One Ok Rock is a good example of performative activism. Making political songs about peace, freedom and resistance but doing nothing for human rights. Put footage of Palestinian children and women in the MV only to call what's happening there a war when it's a fucking genocide.

[val @LUXURYDISEASE]

you people aren't real jshdhcbckdksksk

[green Takahiro's hair🛐🛐 @mori_chan10969]

since the criticism turned into a flood of pure toxicity and won't stop, my patience has officially snapped. i have something to say too

as usual, i don't care about your unfollows or blocks, so feel free👌if you start insulting or trying to humiliate me you're getting banned

taka was crystal clear about his views on the world. for 1.5 years, oor’s entire message has been to think with your own brain, listen to others, and unite through music

but for some reason when taka backs his friend facing an insane wave of cancellation (mind-blowing how ppl think sheeran is worse than trump, putin or netanyahu, and literally compare him to hitler) you immediately dogpiled him as if it’s not blindingly obvious that taka doesn't support the genocide in palestine

how can you even say all of this was fake? maybe you guys are just missing the point completely?

like use your head. there's a lot of evil out there besides gaza so educate yourself too: ppl are dying massively everywhere—millions in congo, ppl trapped under missiles in ukraine, sudan, afghanistan, etc. look how fast everyone stopped caring about venezuela where ppl live with no power and protestors get killed

so not all lives matter equally?

just say 'free palestine' to join the club otherwise you get harassed until you disappear?

you got your answers. despite taka’s perfectly understandable last message, you’re still nitpicking the words like 'it's genocide, not war' just to somehow justify the aggressive things you said before.

my nation survived genocide in ww2— the nazis burned entire villages, locking the locals in barns and burning them alive including children so was that a war or genocide? are we seriously nitpicking vocabulary right now?

i can completely understand taka's feelings and his desire to show support publicly. bc i’ve also repeatedly shown support to some of you, only to get hit with a bunch of toxicity from your haters in return. and it's strange to see that you don't understand why taka posted the words of support on his stories. it feels like you care more about the fandom's reputation, just so you don't even indirectly get dragged into the mud that ed sheeran is drowning in rn. that's why you keep stubbornly ignoring the core point of taka's message—he was showing him support bc of how ed handled himself in this whole situation

how taka suddenly turned into a supporter of zionism and genocide is smth i still don't understand

after the whole detox tour, how can you think taka stands for anti-humanism? that includes internet toxicity and cancel culture. taka was already massive canceled in the past, it’s a trigger for him. but you're telling him 'hey, your feelings don't mean anything, you're just an idiot and sheeran’s bootlicker'

no matter how many times oor saved you from the dark or how much taka's words protected your mental health, you still crawl out to invalidate his feelings using moral slogans. do you really think celebrity wealth magically cures anxiety, depression, or fear? go tell that to chester bennington

and kindly stop projecting your own assumptions onto others

just look at who you're actually fighting

[LUNA @spicytunamayo_]

Been supporting @ONEOKROCK_japan since 17 years ago, now, I retreat bcs of Taka's statement. It's not a war, it's genocide.

I'm with Tomoya, Free Palestine!

But it makes a difference to me.”

Girl your words hit hard and hurts 😭😭😭
Hugsss

[vic @takalyric]

[val @LUXURYDISEASE]

no

[Michi ✨ @ TTTR ❤️❤️ @MoonLitSapphic_]

NOW Y'ALL APOLOGIZE TO HIM

[nanda @choosegguk]

eu vou hackear do takahiro e vou excluir a conta dele

[ต้ามsuke @okk0tyu]

“I couldnt stay silent seeing a friend in that situation” oh wow so you’ve been silent this whole time while there r bigger things going on in the world and only wanting to speak up now for a friend that gives out stupid opinion? ok.

[proyectadas eil @nmneweil]

One ok rock es una buena banda y la voz de Taka debería ser considerada de las mejores de su país, una técnica para morirse

Que sea un idiota no le quita el talento, dos verdades pueden coexistir

[dee @oorstaka]

you know? even if they themselves were performative, it is heartwarming to see that a lot of the international fandom still learned and live up to what we thought they represented, coming together to stand up for what's right and pushing back against "neutrality" and injustice

[val @LUXURYDISEASE]

idk why he keeps feeling the need to defend ed on this bruh it's genuinely so stupid

[vulnera sanentur - No copycat allowed-Andriesians @shavshavshav]

Another clarification from Takahiro tonight

Everbody is against war, Aniki, really, not only you but everbody is against war.

[nanda @choosegguk]

anyways free palestine 🇵🇸

[venus lee @lee13215_10969]

please jangan salah paham ya
kita fans yang marah & kecewa ke taka itu karena kita sayang & peduli sama dia & oor
