The LVHS band program is happy to announce that they have advanced to the state round of the TMEA Honor Band selection process. Recordings of the band will be heard, and judged, at the TBA convention in July to select the best concert band in the state.

Just a reminder we will be having our final booster meeting tomorrow night at 6:30pm where we will discuss elections, summer band, and the final banquet discussion.  We also have our banquet on Friday (May 20th) where we will be having a meal, passing out awards, and a dance.

The LVHS Band is happy to announce that our Winterguard, the first ever for La Vernia, has placed 2nd place in the TECA Jourdanton Regional contest this past Saturday. We have two more contests on March 15th and State on the 26th. Congratulations to our girls! @anthonykosub

Our kiddos did a great job Saturday @ Rough Rider Contest. The LV Band placed 5th overall in 4A, the top 4 have all been to State Marching Contest. Our music and percussion scores were both 3rd place in 4A. Looking forward to a great week and contest on Saturday @anthonykosub

Wanted to send an update for the rest of the week and next week. We have begun morning rehearsals every day starting at 7:00am. Please make sure your student arrives early and in their practice uniform. Evening rehearsals begin next Monday night from 6:30pm-8:30pm and will be

Slight change in the rehearsal schedule for tomorrow (8/13). We will be rehearsing from 4:30pm-7:00pm. Boosters will still fed our kiddos from 6:00pm-6:30pm and we will do our final musical runthrough from 6:30-7:00pm. Thanks for all you do! @anthonykosub
