I think BTS not only know their worth, but our worth as fans, and by that I mean they know the value of our attention. They trust us not to tune in, they trust us to stand beside them in their decision.
all bts said was that they don’t want to submit their work to the grammys this year and at least 4 members of the grammys have gone on coke rants and crashing out about it but kpop fans swear the grammys dgaf about bts
Zeena Koda, one of the individuals involved in establishing the new 'Best Asian Pop' category at the GRAMMYs acknowledges that the discussions did NOT account for the fact that some Asian countries speak English.
— One of the category's requirements is that the song must be performed in an Asian language.
So the people who created the Asian category at the Grammys apparently didn't realize that English is the first language in some Asian countries. Saying a song has to be in an Asian language to qualify just shows how rushed and poorly thought out the category was lol.
