Thinking about how in barbie land where everything is perfect for women, men still aren't suffering. they aren't in servitude, they aren't being objectified or harassed. they are just not the main characters. but in a world run by and for men, women are NEVER safe. that's the difference between feminists and misogynists. women just want to be left alone, while men don't see us as humans.

This was a deliberate scheme by the drug police to try to get promotions by naming the biggest celebrity in Korea: G-Dragon. They released his name on the word of a woman who supposedly saw "a wrapper" in a bathroom that GD had been to. His name was released to the press before an investigation was conducted and before he himself was contacted. He learnt of the allegations from the 200K news stories that came out while he was sleeping. This coordinated smear campaign suggests a rival pushed the story trying to end his career while he was planning his comeback.
GD proactively set out to clear his name by volunteering for a drug test using his hair and nails. He did this while YG, an agency he had built into the big 3, publicly distanced themselves from him by stating that he wasn't their artist as they were under contract renewal negotiations.
G-Dragon therefore hired his own legal team and fronted a defence of which this voluntary appearance for police questioning was a part. After a thorough investigation that included drug testing by the national forensic service which revealed no drug use, he was officially cleared and police and press apologised to him publicly for releasing an unverified rumour, thus risking his career and reputation.
Rather than reacting with anger, G-Dragon set up the JusPeace foundation through a seed donation and perpetual support through a percentage of his music income in order to support social causes.
Within a year of this vicious smear campaign, GD joined a new agency, Galaxy Corporation, hitherto unrelated to music and released Ubermensch, which topped the charts and swept the charts in 2025. He also completed kpop's biggest solo tour making his agency more than 300 M dollars in revenue, catapulting it to a trillion won valuation , the second unicorn that his genius had created.
If anyone wrote this into a Kdrama people would think it is too unrealistic and far fetched. But that's just two years in G-Dragon's life.
