this decision followed months of repeated conflict, most notably threatening to leave knowing it meant losing the team's LCQ points to get his way over what was best for the team. Even when compromises were offered, they were dismissed

It’s not fair for a whole team to be held hostage by the whims of one player

"My way or the highway" has a serious effect on team cohesion and morale. In the end, it was a hard decision based on what the team needed. Nothing more, nothing less
