On 13 July 1999, Justice Bbosa dismissed a case filed by the mother of the late King of Toro, Kaboyo Olimi VII, and others. The mother died before the hearing commenced, and the case proceeded with the second Plaintiff. ✍️There is no law or such thing as an "oral will", running of the Kingdom cannot be the preserve of the Princes and Princesses and a few chosen people. ✍️Orukurato sanctions decisions reached by clans on the burial, succession and coronation of an Omukama

✍️Omukama, is the epitome and custodian of custom in Tooro. He reigns with a Musuga and a Batebe who are cultural functionaries.

✍️Through the Omuhikirwa, Chief Minister, the Orukurato, and other cultural
functionaries.

✍️The role and duties of the cultural functionaries are limited to performing cultural rituals, particularly at the burial and coronation of the king.

✍️Orukurato sanctions decisions reached by clans on the burial, succession and coronation of an Omukama
Omukama alone cannot change the way the Kingdom is managed i.e. through the Omukama, the Orukurato, the regents, and the ritual functionaries. All these have their respective roles to play and cannot be legally excluded from running the affairs of the Kingdom.

Omukama is the epitome and symbol of the moral and cultural order in Tooro. As such if he blesses an institution and its inclusion in the Constitution, surely it becomes part of the culture of his people. And perhaps he is also the one to decide, together with his people, that it is now outmoded.

If you are intrigued by this man's ministry, walk into Phaneroo grounds any service day and you will realize the following;
1. He sometimes forgets people have to give offertory.
2. He never reminds (nags) people to tithe.
3. He never fundraises for anything, ANYTHING!

Yet you see big projects being accomplished, acquisition of land, developments, new machines, super mega tents, support to other ministries, rehabilitation of hundreds of street children, hospital and prison ministries, the biggest crusades in the country.

Yet he is consistently marketed by 2 categories of people;
1. Those who know absolutely nothing about him and his ministry.
2. Those who are intimidated by his success.

However you need to be forewarned before you go to spy: You may get captivated by his intelligence and become part of his congregation.
