🚨 FIFA 17 REVIVAL - DEV UPDATE ⚽

Quick update on where we’re at.

We’ve changed our approach slightly with the TLS problem. Instead of spending all our time trying to perfectly recreate EA’s old TLS handshake, we’re now digging directly into the FIFA 17 executable.

Right now we’re using Ghidra to trace the game’s networking/TLS code and find:

🔎 ProtoSSL/TLS functions
🔎 Certificate handling
🔎 Network send/receive functions
🔎 Where encryption/decryption happens

We’ve already found some interesting functions and we’re following the trail through the game.

The goal is simple: if recreating EA’s TLS setup exactly isn’t practical, we’re looking at intercepting FIFA’s send/receive path instead and getting the game communicating with our Revival Server that way.

⚙️ Backend - ~20%
💾 Database - ~15%
🧪 Public Testing - 0%

🎯 Next goal: break through the networking/TLS barrier and get FIFA 17 properly communicating with our server.

Once we manage that, we can push much harder into authentication and work towards the milestone everyone wants to see…

Still NO release date and we’re not looking for public testers yet. The project will be completely FREE when it’s ready.
