@crona_R Honestly I’m more just aggravated because the artist 100% knows about the discourse but apparently not enough to even bother posting a quick “don’t put down that other artists with my work thx” under the tweet and it made me roll my eyes. It’s either ignorance or purposely petty

@Zhota_ For real I’ve seen shit like this played out multiple times, an artist will draw something maliciously knowing exactly what backhanded compliments people are going to reply with and then feigning ignorance when people inevitably call them out. It’s becoming a pattern

Anyways I’ve replied enough and said all I needed. I can only hope my suspicion is incorrect and that it was just an innocent interpretation that OP was oblivious to the possibility of being used to put down another’s work and they they eventually call out the comparisons XOXO

Either OP is just that naive or it was intentional

@pinkaminaa As a kid I never disliked the aspect of different species, what I DID hate was how prevalent they got in a show I was watching for the PONIES. It’s like wanting to watch a show about cats only for the focus to randomly shifts to dogs and bunnies near the end of the series.
