Peanut butter is the gym bro's beloved, the toddler's staple, the "healthy fat and protein" jar in every cupboard. It is also one of the most reliable dietary sources of a mould toxin that ranks among the most potent natural carcinogens known to science.

TESCO COOKED THE BOOKS

A senior accountant at Britain's biggest supermarket told his bosses the numbers were wrong. They ignored him. Then the stock market found out. Then it got very embarrassing for everyone except, somehow, the people responsible.

In 2014, Amit Soni, a senior accountant at @Tesco, went to senior management with a straightforward problem.

Accounting teams were being told to pull forward future income from suppliers, booking it on the accounts before it was actually earned.

He kept raising it. He kept being ignored. One manager, he later told a court, said he did not want to go to jail over it.

That is the kind of thing people say when they know something is very wrong but are more interested in the quarterly numbers.

All year, Tesco had been incorrectly pulling income forward from future periods to flatter the bottom line, creating a hole that was only getting bigger.

By September 2014, the game was up. Tesco suspended four executives and admitted its half-year profit had been overstated by over £400 million at the time of announcement, triggering its third profit warning in two years.

Shares fell 8.8 percent in a single morning. Chairman Richard Broadbent resigned.

The @UKSFO opened a full criminal investigation.
Three former directors, Christopher Bush and John Scouler, were charged with fraud and false accounting.
Carl Rogberg faced the same charges. The trial ran for years. Then it collapsed.

The judge ruled the prosecution case was too weak to continue. All three walked free. @TheFCA concluded Tesco had committed market abuse.

Tesco signed a Deferred Prosecution Agreement with the @UKSFO, paying £85 million in compensation to investors and £129 million in fines and costs, escaping a criminal conviction in the process.

To summarise: the whistleblower was right, the fraud was real, the investigation took years, and at the end of it no executive went to prison and the company paid its way out of a conviction.

Amit Soni did exactly what every compliance manual tells you to do. He went to management first. He documented it. He testified in court. He was the first witness called at trial.

The system produced the outcome it usually produces.

.@zarahussain999, the far right card. Every time. Without fail. A man is nearly beheaded on a residential street in Belfast and within hours the story becomes about the far right.

A Sudanese national, granted leave to remain, pinned a man to the ground and stabbed him repeatedly in the face, eyes and neck. A member of the public stopped it with a hurling stick. That is where this started. Not with protesters. Not with the far right. With a man who should not have been in that community, in that country, given leave to remain by a system that admitted it had no trace of him on any security database.

The burning of homes is wrong. That has been said. Now say this: the near murder of a man on a residential street is also wrong. The policy that put an unvetted Sudanese national in that neighbourhood without the community's knowledge or consent is also wrong. Three consecutive years of immigration-related disorder in Belfast is also wrong.

You feel unsafe. So does the man in hospital with stab wounds to his face and neck. So do the communities that have been told for years that their concerns are racism. So do the families who were not consulted before unvetted young men were dispersed into their streets.

The far right label is a silencing mechanism. It has been used to shut down this conversation for thirty years. Look where that has got us.

📣🚨 FSU Victory!!

The Free Speech Union has just heard from South Wales Police that it has withdrawn its guidance on “anti-Muslim hostility”.

The force had effectively adopted its own Islamic blasphemy law, instructing officers to record any conversation that went beyond “legitimate” discussion of Islam.

Under this guidance, criticism of Islam could have been recorded as an anti-social behaviour incident and potentially appeared on DBS checks, affecting someone’s ability to work as a teacher, carer, or in other regulated professions.

South Wales Police has backed down because the Free Speech Union threatened them with a judicial review if it chose to press ahead with the policy.

The force has described this move as a “pause” to the guidance — but we think it is highly unlikely to return.

We must also thank Shadow Equalities Minister @ClaireCoutinho for referring South Wales Police to the Equality and Human Rights Commission after we brought this issue to her attention.

Blasphemy laws were abolished by Parliament 18 years ago. We must not allow them to return through the back door.

Let this be a warning to any other public body — particularly police forces — considering the adoption of its own blasphemy laws.

In the UK Data Centres are a fake market building digital survaillance and data infrastructure that I believe will be used to control behaviour of citizens.

Even if you think thats a 'conspiracy theory' look at whats happening. Let’s do the maths on data centres.

Britain has some of the highest electricity prices in the developed world. Households are paying about 25p - 26p per kWh under the Ofgem price cap, plus standing charges, while small businesses, farmers and manufacturers are being crushed by energy costs. Data centres are guarenteed about 16p

The government is creating special conditions for data centres. Did you know that? they get...

▪️cheaper electricity - up to £80 MILLION per year
▪️priority grid access - whilst houses wait
▪️planning support - even on agricultural land
▪️Critical National Infrastructure status - Priority energy, before YOU!
▪️climate levy discounts - of up to 92% (£31 millioon each per year)
▪️possible public finance

Even though they are absolutely NOT Net Zero friendly, guzzling energy and water.

And what do we get? well, there are very few jobs, most can be outsourced and after the construction phase there are very few. Lower bills? No. Cheaper food? No. Revived manufacturing? No.

We pay the higher electricity prices to fund the architecture of control. We fund the grid. We provide the data. Then private tech giants use that infrastructure to collect, store, process and monetise our lives.

Our health data, financial data, movements, habits, faces, voices, opinions and behaviour all become part of the new profit machine. And all guarenteed by us! BRILLIANT.

So forgive me all you doubters, for saying no! you are doubting the wrong thing.

The government wants to PAY companies £5,000 to reimburse visa costs for each foreign worker they hire! so, I thought we'd dig into just some of the 'skilled' worker roles the government has approved, that British people could easily do between March 2024 and March 2026.

At a time when unemployment is rising, this is just a short list of 156,873 JOBS British people including graduates did NOT get and overseas visa were issued.

The Home Office bussed hundreds of asylum seekers into a former army camp at Crowborough, East Sussex — at 3 o’clock in the morning.

Not at noon.
Not with a press release. Not with a briefing to local councillors.

At 3am.

Wealden District Council — the elected local authority responsible for that area — says it was deliberately kept in the dark.

Not a courtesy call.
Not a heads-up.
Nothing.

They discovered what their own government had done to their community the same way the residents did: after the fact.

The Council’s Deputy Leader James Partridge has now formally stated that the Home Office’s secrecy “carries a high risk of public disorder and injury to people and property.”

Read that again.

Elected local politicians are warning Parliament that their own national government is creating the conditions for violence — through deliberate concealment from the people who live there.

This isn’t bureaucratic incompetence.

Incompetence doesn’t require a 3am operation.

This is a government that knew the public would object, decided they didn’t have a right to know, and moved at night to get ahead of any resistance.

They chose secrecy over safety.

And now they’re blaming the public for reacting badly to being lied to.

NHS SENT A DOCTOR A £180,000 BILL FOR REPORTING A PATIENT DEATH

A heart patient died at an NHS hospital. A doctor said it was avoidable. Nobody told the coroner.

That doctor was Dr Usha Prasad, the only female consultant cardiologist at Epsom and St Helier University NHS Trust.

She raised the alarm. She named it. She refused to stay quiet.

So the trust built a case against her. Forty-three clinical complaints, assembled and handed to the GMC to finish her off.

An independent cardiologist reviewed every single one. He found nothing wrong.

The GMC cleared her and revalidated her licence to practise.

The trust had thrown everything at her and come back empty-handed.

And then... they sent her a bill. Not just any bill. A £180,000 costs demand, which would be the largest ever imposed on a whistleblower at a UK employment tribunal.

Costs are awarded against claimants in fewer than 1 in 2,000 tribunal cases.

Dr Prasad apparently made the cut.

The former CEO reportedly offered her a deal: walk away, drop the whistleblowing claim, and he would make the disciplinary process disappear.

She said no.

What followed was years of hearings, cancelled proceedings, and a consultant so mentally broken by the process that she sometimes could not attend her own case.

Her colleagues described her as skilled, patient-centred, and well-liked. Nobody questioned her ability until the moment she questioned the trust.

JERSEY JAILED THE MAN WHO TRIED TO SAVE ITS CHILDREN

Stuart Syvret @StuartSyvret was Jersey's Health Minister. In 2007 he started asking uncomfortable questions about what was happening to children in the island's care homes. He said he was sacked for whistleblowing. Jersey said he was sacked for his behaviour.

That's the kind of framing you get when the institution decides the story.

Syvret had been collecting his own evidence since 2006. In May 2008 he made a formal complaint to police claiming senior civil servants had perverted the course of justice by covering up abuse in care homes.

So what happened to him? His house was raided. His computers and papers were taken. He was hit with a superinjunction, a secret gag order that was later exposed by UK Parliament, and imprisoned three times in connection with his efforts to expose what he described as horrific crimes across the island.

The Independent Jersey Care Inquiry eventually confirmed that children in care on the island endured 553 offences between 1947 and 2004. Most occurred at the notorious Haut de la Garenne children's home. The inquiry concluded that survivors were left with devastating and life-long consequences.

A constant theme in the inquiry report was the "Jersey Way" - a culture of ignoring and downplaying uncomfortable issues, which allowed abuse to continue without full investigation.

One UK judge called Syvret "a thorn in the side of the Jersey establishment." A Liberal Democrat MP accused Jersey's judiciary of misusing the Data Protection Act to silence critics.

Syvret eventually left Jersey fearing for his life, having received death threats for years. He ended up in an undisclosed location in the United States.

His conclusion, years later: the obstructions to the original police investigation were "astonishing." And those who blew the whistle paid the price while the system stayed intact.

Think about that. The man who raised the alarm about child abuse on a British Crown Dependency got jailed, gagged, and exiled.
