Being mayor is lots of things.
But the two most important are:
1. Take the issues seriously.
2. Don’t take yourself too seriously.

Great to meet Mayor @LynnDollin and her team from the @townofinnisfil this afternoon at #AMO2026, to discuss strengthening electricity transmission capacity to support the community’s rapid growth.

With major new housing, health care, and commercial and industrial investments planned across the region, we discussed the importance of expanding grid capacity and strengthening reliability to help unlock billions of dollars in new investment, and thousands of new homes and jobs.

We’ll continue working with Innisfil and our energy partners across the province to ensure the electricity infrastructure is in place to power growth, attract investment, and build stronger communities.
