President Trump has challenged all of us to step up our efforts to fight fraud and protect the American taxpayers from this grift. The STOP FRAUD in Medicaid Act implements one of the initiatives in the 5-part plan for fighting Medicaid fraud I presented to Vice President @JDVance in May. Every pathway to prosecution must be available to us to fight waste, fraud, and corruption. I urge Congress to pass this bill and give us the tools that will unleash state Medicaid Fraud Control Units like mine to even more effectively fight for taxpayers. Today, I joined @DHSgov Investigations, Northern District US Attorney Scott Leary, and Southern District US Attorney Baxter Kruger to announce the completion of Operation Muddy Waters. Over 2 weeks, we arrested 13 on charges related to child exploitation and 48 for Sex Offender Registry non-compliance, detained 3 foreign nationals for possible deportation, and foiled at least 1 sextortion scheme in progress. Together, we are protecting children from predators hiding in plain sight online and in our neighborhoods. Learn more ⬇️
