Last year, someone called me. Told me to accompany her to an event, coz she likes to have me around. So I dressed up good coz I didn't want to disappoint her. Then I get there, 400 km later, only to find out the event is earthworm day - October 21st. Don't date vegans, man.

Asked her why she didn't just tell me it was earthworms I was coming to see. She said it was meant to be a surprise. How in god's name is an earthworm a surprise? Like I was supposed to see an earthworm, start crying, and go, "OMG!!! Okay. You got me. You got me good, I didn't expect this!"

And why in God's name do we have an earthworm day? She said it was to celebrate the things. For what exactly? I was told to stop being an asshole and just enjoy the moment..

So I sat through the 4 hour roster of guests invited to speak about the earthworms. People donate kidneys, jump in rivers to save kids: do they get even an hour to mark their heroics? Nooo. But an earthworm wiggles and we give it a whole day.

Then it was time to be taken around, shown the different types of earthworm. And everyone was like "aawww, it's so cuuutteee". And it's like the earthworms were enjoying the attention, coz they'd wiggle some more. Someone even said, she wished she could adopt one. I turned to see who it was, and guess who it was... Yup! The future mother of my kids.

Then people ask, "T. when are you going to settle down?" I'll start beating people. Tired of this shit!
