Is it late for #Hacktoberfest? No! There are still a few days left. LynxKite is participating. We have just tagged a number of issues as "good first issues". See the list here: https://t.co/T6fyPZrJq7
We're looking forward to your PRs!
We have released LynxKite 5.1.0.
The headliner for this release is a major change to how LynxKite is started. You can now simply run "spark-submit lynxkite-5.1.0.jar". This makes it easier to deploy in existing Hadoop environments.

If you wish to make a more complete backup, all LynxKite data on https://t.co/LxGoxxukzt is stored in the ~/.kite4 directory. Compress and download the contents for a full backup.
If you're still concerned, let us know! We're happy to help!
Do you use https://t.co/LxGoxxcbll? We have good news and bad.
The good news is we're going to revamp it with newer versions of everything.
The bad news is we will lose all user data in the process. Read on to learn how to back up anything important you may have! 👇
A LynxKite workspace can be copied to the clipboard. Just select all boxes and press Ctrl-C. If you copy the contents into a YAML file, you can drag & drop this file into a new workspace to get back the workspace contents. (This won't include imported files though.)
Or...
LynxKite 5.0.0, our biggest release this year, is out! It can run many graph algorithms on GPUs thanks to @RAPIDSai and has a new, faster internal storage layer, among other things.
To see what those "other things" are, see our full release notes at https://t.co/72zSOXrT28
LynxKite 5.0 is coming soon with GPU accelerated graph algorithms from the @RAPIDSai cuGraph library.
Watch @DanielDarabos's presentation about it on June 15 at @BudapestData: https://t.co/ysKnzN20Uw
Come join LynxKite as a Software Engineer in Budapest, Hungary! (Or remotely.) We've got almost everything in our tech stack: Scala, Go, C++, Python, JavaScript. 😅

You have a bunch of tables and want to build a graph from them. What is the right way to do it?
It turns out there are many graph models to choose from, each with unique advantages. Gabor Benedek showcases 4 approaches using LynxKite in a new blog post: https://t.co/WW881Dxvy2
