• Rushing: 2,000 yards in roughly 10 games (200 yards per game)
• Passing: 650–670 yards, 8 TDs, low interception rate
• Career totals (through junior year): 3,822 rushing yards, 1,803 passing yards, 72 total touchdowns, 5,625 all-purpose yards
He earned 2nd Team All-State honors (Class 2A) on offense and was one of the most productive players in Mississippi regardless of classification.

Multiple recruiting analysts have called him out as a “sleeper” and “one to watch” because the production is real despite the small-school competition level.

Film Evaluation: RB Lens
While Perkins plays quarterback for Eupora, his running ability is his clear carrying trait and why he profiles as a running back at the next level. Here’s the breakdown:

• Explosive burst & long speed: Sub-4.6 40 shows up on film. He hits the hole with sudden acceleration and has legitimate home-run speed once he gets to the second level.
• Vision & elusiveness: Shows good feel for cutback lanes and can make defenders miss in space. Not just a straight-line runner, he has shake and lateral quickness.
• Contact balance & toughness: Described as “tough to bring down.” He runs with low pad level, keeps his legs churning, and falls forward. Strong lower body (evident in his squat/clean numbers).
• Big-play threat: Averaging 200 rushing yards per game in Class 2A isn’t fluky, he consistently breaks long runs.
• Versatility: Dual-threat ability adds value. Can be used on RPOs, designed runs, wildcat, or even as a receiving threat out of the backfield. Also has defensive experience at CB, showing football IQ and athletic range.
• Competitive toughness: Plays with juice and leadership. Teammates and coaches rave about him.
