Very often I’m direct.
And if I’m honest — sometimes I write in a way that’s meant to stop you.
Not to make you follow me.
But to interrupt you.
To make you pause for a second and ask:
👉 What did I actually do in my last trade?
👉 What pattern is really running me?
👉 Am I pushing… or am I thinking?
What I see everywhere is the same narrative:
The hero story.
Push harder.
Go through pain.
Maybe that worked in another time.
But we’re not in the Stone Age anymore.
We live in a world with:
– neuroscience
– psychology
– nervous system regulation
– biohacking
– mindfulness
And still…
most people choose the hardest, most primitive path.
That’s not strength.
That’s ignorance.
In the 21st century, performance is not built by pushing harder.
It’s built by:
– understanding your patterns
– regulating your system
– working with your mind, not against it
So instead of pushing harder, start to learn how to push smarter 😉
And here’s what makes the “hero story” so dangerous.
It’s built on survivorship bias.
You only see the ones who made it.
The ones who pushed harder, didn’t quit, took insane risks…
and somehow survived.
They become the story.
They become the example.
But you don’t see:
– the thousands who pushed just as hard
– took the same risks
– followed the same mindset
…and quietly disappeared.
The hero story glorifies:
– overexposure
– emotional trading
– “all-in” moments
– pushing through breakdown instead of understanding it
And calls it strength.
But in trading, this doesn’t create consistency.
It creates volatility in identity and behavior.
Modern performance is not built on heroic effort.
It’s built on:
– awareness
– regulation
– precision
– repeatability
Not “how hard can you push?”
But:
👉 How stable are you under pressure?
👉 How repeatable is your execution?
👉 How well do you understand your own patterns?
@TheH0n3stTrader You know and I know that size of the market doesn’t define how much the person can make, only inner truth whether the person thinks I’m capable or not making x sum of money and wether he/she believes I’m worthy or not.
Willpower is the only asset the market can’t take.
The ability to wait, to hold, to walk away -
that’s built from within.
And it’s the only thing that compounds forever.
Save this. Come back to it after your next bad trade. ☝️
In the next 12 months, most traders will blow their accounts.
The market doesn’t kill the ignorant.
It kills the ones addicted to the feeling of winning.
Let me explain. 🧵
In 2-3 years, two types of traders will remain:
Those who automated their trading and started using algo.
And those who mastered emotion and inner game.
Everyone in the middle —
trading on vibes, tips, and FOMO
will have funded both of them.
Trading doesn’t reward the smartest. It destroys those chasing the thrill. The market is just another algorithm feeding you dopamine — until it doesn’t.
Willpower is the only asset that cannot be taken away, frozen, or devalued by inflation. The only one that is built entirely from within. And don’t confuse it with discipline.
“Wealth creation is an evolutionarily recent positive-sum game. Status is an old zero-sum game. Those attacking wealth creation are often just seeking status. - Naval Ravikant, The Almanack of Naval Ravikant
