Good Job Citizen TV for exposing how a few rogue police officers have used brutal force to kill, injure, and arrest innocent Kenyans taking part in peaceful maandamano. It's a shame that Kenya Kwanza is supporting police brutality. @LinusKaikai@YvonneOkwara@SamGituku@JamilaMohamed@citizentvkenya
BREAKING NEWS:
The court has ruled that Babu Owino be taken to hospital for medical attention, be allowed access to counsel, and be returned to court tomorrow morning for the bail ruling.
The rest of the accused persons, including Calvin Gaucho, be remanded at Kileleshwa Police Station, be allowed access to legal counsel, and be returned to court for the bail ruling tomorrow morning as well.
The court did not say anything about the police who held them incommunicado at Wang'uru Police station since Monday night, but from the way the Prosecution team spoke, they will not mind Constitutional Law being made a compulsory subject at the Kenya Police Training School.
Tomorrow is Saturday and Saturday is Saturday.
@AzimioTv On the flip side. You guys slept on the job during Elections....whatever Zakayo did to emerge the winner, you guys cud have done it better and you could be in charge of kafament today. .....Zakayo atawarambisha hadi mshangae .
@AzimioTv@RailaOdinga William Ruto is not heading to the right direction. Yes Kenyans are suffering but we who have something to put on the table don't care what the most Kenyans are going through in their day to day life.
How I wish the legislature conduct itself maturely and represent people wish.
@AzimioTv@RailaOdinga I'm so mad at our Azimio leaders like Ledama Olekina just making noise on TV but have no balls of steel to come out and help our people, Gaucho, Maurice Ogeta and Babu Owino who have been arrested. Only Edwin Sifuna came out today via you one and only @paulinenjoroge
@AzimioTv Azimio needs to be serious, now is not the time for Azimio Mps to move around in only one car. They should have an escort car acting as security at the same time.
Urgent Azimio Update: Mathare MP, Hon Antony Oluoch, has been whisked away in a vehicle with TZ plates while refueling at the Shell station near Nakumatt Junction on Ngong Road. Several Subaru cars were spotted around the scene. However, it remains unclear where he has been taken to. We will keep y'all updated.
The monolithic, militaristic, despotic and oppressive STATE IS BACK in its full ‘glory’(ugliness). The good news is that even where dictatorships are entrenched they eventual fall like rotten fruit from a tree as the Vietnamese said. Humanity has no room for fascism and tyranny.
I join Kenyans in mourning the senseless and painful loss of lives on the Nairobi-Kisumu Road at Londiani.
This was avoidable. There is absolutely no reason for more than 7 vehicles to get into a pulled up if the drivers of those were all diligent.
Kenyan roads are too narrow, poorly designed and poorly constructed.
Many Kenyans drive recklessly, in a distracted manner and with illegally acquired drivers licenses.
Too many vehicles on Kenyan roads are mechanically defective.
Most traffic police officers who can act against bad drivers and mechanically defective vehicles on the roads are too corrupt to be effective.
It requires pragmatic, courageous and focused efforts on the part of the ministry of transportation, roads and relevant agencies to eliminate these problems and STOP the ongoing road CARNAGE.
Car pooling is a good idea.
Reduced fuel demand also exerts less pressure on the national imports bill of which fuel is a major component and could further stabilise the shilling against the dollar.A stronger shilling is good for the economy.
I like this conversation. Clearly the CONVERSATION HAS CHANGED indeed.
