Fun Fact Friday-School attendance matters more than you think! For public school districts, funding often relies heavily on Average Daily Attendance —state revenue is tied to how many students are in class. While property taxes help too, missed days = less funding for education.

Property taxes play an important role, but state funding remains the largest source for our schools.
