RECAP on Sony’s downfall: Sony PlayStation’s terrible leadership under Totoki, Jim Ryan, Hermen Hulst and Nishino run the company’s reputation to the ground and lost all good-will from players🚀

It looks like I will keep updating this often:

📦Cancelled Kojima’s PHYSINT abruptly
💰Raising console pricing
💿Trying to end physical game discs
🖥️Ended PC ports for single player
🛍️Closing PS3/Vita stores
🕹️Ending second hand market
🌕Stopped support for Destiny
🎮Destroying game ownership
🎞️Removing 500 movies w/o refund
😱7 studios acquired since 2020
😡5 already shut down
⚡️Paid $4.7B to Bungie for nothing

Details:

❌Cancelled Hideo Kojima’s PHYSINT, an action espionage game, mid June 2026, and the pretended the decision was amicable, while Kojima himself said it was unexpected, leading him to move it to XBOX

❌Acquired Bluepoint in 2021 and failed to let them produce a single game since the acquisition, only to shut them down in 2026

❌Acquired Haven in 2022 and hasn’t provided any meaningful updates on Fairgame$

❌Acquired Firewalk Studios in 2023 and ended up with Concord aka. the greatest disaster in gaming and shut down the studio in 2024

❌Acquired Bungie for $3.6B ($4.7B in total) in 2023, which only led to layoffs and delaying Marathon due to plagiarism and a disappointing first reveal

❌Ended support for Destiny and downscaled Bungie with tons of layoffs

❌Shutdown London Studio in 2024 am cancelled their yet to be revealed live service game

❌Shut down Neon Koi

❌Shut down Dark Outlaw as of March 2026, according to Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier

In addition,

🗑️The Last of Us Online
🗑️Spider-Man: The Great Web Multiplayer
🗑️Bend Studio’s live service game
🗑️Bluepoint’ God of War live service
🗑️Jim Ryan had 12 live service games planned to be out by 2026, only Helldivers II was released and succeeded, the rest were all either cancelled before release or shut down shortly after like Concord

They ruined this entire generation and the hard work of thousands of talented people for nothing.

They betrayed the legendary Kojima and cancelled PHYSINT, which was basically Metal Gear Solid’s spiritual successor

They shifted their failure onto talented studios for the egocentrism of the clueless execs.

And now they want to transfer that failure to players by:

✅Ending disc production
✅Creating a monopoly
✅Raising prices
✅Ending second hand market/trading

📀Reports from Digital Foundry’s John Linneman and others stated that there’s resentment for Sony from the industry and various studios and publishers who spoke to him.

👉Their CEOs/Execs must be fired
Sony must be reformed

They have lost all good will and run their reputation to the ground

NO KOJIMA 🫡 NO BUY
NO DISC 💿 NO BUY

@CBSNews Amazon needs parachutes or bouncing boxes for drone delivery services.

[International Cyber Digest @IntCyberDigest]

‼️ BREAKING: Journalists hid an Airtag in a rare book shipment and confirmed Amazon to be one of the buyers behind the bulk orders destroying rare-books to feed their AI.

They tracked it to Amazon's LAS8 warehouse in Las Vegas, home to VGT3 (see logo below), a scanning operation feeding Amazon's AI training data, where workers say they cut the bindings off books to scan them faster.

Amazon won't say why the books are destroyed.

PlayStation fans are massively cancelling their PS Plus subscriptions to protest Sony’s move toward a digital-only future.

Many players are sharing screenshots of their cancelled subscriptions online, this is one of the few ways gamers can send a clear message to Sony that they want games on physical discs.

Money is the only language these companies understand.

Everyone is worried about game ownership and preserving games

Keep the backlash.
