@FoxTwo2022 True. Both the far-left and far-right in France are actively opposed to Germany and the way we know European solidarity & the EU itself currently. Besides all the meaningless beef on X, that's the far more revealing and dangerous aspect. EU-internal cohesion is at risk in 2027.
French aviation Twitter is genuinely absurd at his point man. Mfs are outraged over this tweet making up schizo theories of Airbus claiming the entire A400M program is German, while they simply called a German Air Force A400M "German". That's it. /1
Always a fan favourite at #ILA26: the German #A400M 🇩🇪✈️
The German Air Force operates the largest A400M fleet in the world. They contribute vital airlift capabilities and are a key asset of force projection in international @NATO missions.
Airbus is currently exploring additional capabilities for this advanced military transport aircraft, such as:
➡️ Extending its cargo capacity from 37 to 40 tonnes.
➡️ Using it as a mothership for drones.
➡️ Implementing satellite-based navigation.
➡️ Equipping it with a modular firefighting kit.
@luxraywork Refreshing to see someone light-headed in this argument. :) Lots of mad people on here... I wouldn't even be mad if it was about the classical criticism against Airbus regarding FCAS, but this? Cmon 😂
@FoxTwo2022 Oh man... And, what might come suprising to some, is that this sort of anti-German resentment is by no means limited to the far-right. People like Melenchon also actively use it. Seems like it's trendy... 😂https://t.co/8wB2CtNcrT
@Oitajpn It was literally posted because of the ILA - the airshow by the (German ;) ) A400M was done a few hours before. But yeah, poor French community, next time Airbus should truly wait a few weeks before posting it just so you don't get butthurt over a non-issue. My god... 💀
@FoxTwo2022 The collective gaslighting is truly mind-boggling. I wish they would not be so resentful, or would at least not grasp at such straws and commit to factual criticism. Twitter in the last few days has just been unbearable on the topic of FCAS/MGCS/Airbus/etc.
@AirbusDefence@NATO For all those French guys feeling insulted because they call the German Luftwaffe A400m shown in the video "the German A400m". Here is "the French A400m" shown at the Paris airshow. Not a single German is complaining...🤡🤡 https://t.co/La8wiHZJPZ
@Arwyn3@Karl98Kurz Yeah, Germany famously operates American main battle tanks, American IFVs and American APCs 💀. My god. Your collective French gaslighting in the last few days is ridiculous, sorry that you can't build good tanks on your own and when you build mediocre ones, no one buys them...
@Karl98Kurz Are you actually trying to infer that Germany needs to steal technology for main battle tanks (!) from, out of all places, France?? 😭 mate you could try to make that argument for the aerospace industry, but for tanks?? 😭😭
Geez, at least get mad at actual problems and not a sentence you are too biased to understand and rather see a huge scandal in. So tired of people gaslighting each other over such a non-issue, they even made their own community note xD... /5
@KepaSagardi 🇩🇪 is buying MQ-9B because it needs such drones as soon as possible. We continue to fully fund our share in Eurodrone and will buy the promised units once it is developed - in contrast to 🇫🇷, which allocates no funding for it until 2035, but still demands full development share.
